Shades Concert at the Fuller-Craft Museum

Shades of Yale returns to sing at the Fuller Craft Museum (with a reception to follow)!

Shades is one of Yale’s premier a cappella groups, touring extensively domestically and internationally to Puerto Rico, South Africa, Jamaica, Ireland, Japan, and more. They performed for the late, former President Nelson Mandela, and at the White House for former President Barack Obama. Shades celebrates music of the African Diaspora with choreographed, vocal arrangements. Their sound is Sweet Honey in the Rock meets Take 6 meets John Legend meets Angelique Kidjo meets Gershwin meets Big Mama Thornton. Fuller Craft Museum’s Director of Communications Titilayo Ngwenya is a founding member of the organization. Come be inspired by the power of music. Bring the family. Come see all the wonderful exhibitions on view as well.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door ($15 for Fuller-Craft Members • $10 Children under 12). Space is limited, so get yours today!
