Love, Sexuality, and Religion: A Talk with Author Eve Tushnet

Join us for a talk on love, religion, and sexuality with Eve Tushnet '00, author of the memoir Gay and Catholic: Accepting My Sexuality, Finding Community, Living My Faith; and of the novel Amends!

In Gay and Catholic, Tushnet describes her own conversion from lifelong atheism to Catholicism, "coming out" as a Christian to those who knew her when she came out as gay, and learning to love grandly in celibacy. From the Amazon summary:

In this first book from an openly lesbian and celibate Catholic, widely published writer and blogger Eve Tushnet recounts her spiritual and intellectual journey from liberal atheism to faithful Catholicism and shows how gay Catholics can love and be loved while adhering to Church teaching.
