On Friday, January 29th, the Yale Alumni Association of Boston and its Vicinity will celebrate one hundred fifty years of bringing Yale's graduates together in the Athens of America.

To paraphrase the invitation to our first event: in addition to the social and intellectual feast anticipated on this occasion, the Board have made arrangements for a Supper at the Parker House, at 6 o’clock in the evening of the 29th, in all which you are cordially invited to participate.

The schedule of events will be as follows:

Five o'clock - Reception & Cocktail Hour (Alcott Ballroom)
Six o'clock - Remarks by President Salovey (Alcott Ballroom)
Seven o'clock - Dinner Service (Rooftop Ballroom)
Eight-thirty - Remarks and Toasting (Rooftop Ballroom)
Ten o'clock - Music and Dancing (Rooftop Ballroom Annex)

Black tie or equivalent attire is requested. There will be a full open bar throughout the celebration.

We're pleased to have Professor Jay Gitlin and the Bales-Gitlin Band providing live musical entertainment for the evening.

The President's Reception will take place in the Alcott Ballroom on the second floor of the Parker House. It is complimentary for those attending the dinner; those unable to join us for the entire evening may register for the reception alone by visiting this page.

The tickets available on this page are discounted for alumni in the last five graduating classes. If you graduated in 2010 or earlier, please visit this page to make your reservations.

We are also pleased to announce that the Parker House has made discounted rooms available, should any of our guests wish to spend the night. Reservations for those rooms may be made here.
